Stay Motivated to Move During the Holidays!
Every minute of exercise counts! Besides strength training, 22 minutes of daily aerobic exercise gives amazing health benefits, but it doesn’t have to be done all at once. Find excuses to move, like a quick run up and down the stairs, a brisk walk around the block while cookies are baking, and add some squats when you get back from that walk. Get a friend to help keep you accountable.
It’s possible to keep or build your fitness in small chunks of time. Those 22 minutes will add up to the recommended 150 minutes of moderate intensity aerobic exercise a week.
